Tye
Tribbett, a Camden, New Jersey, native has been in the background of gospel
music for many years. Many know him as underground songwriter, keyboardist
and background vocalist. Music was something that was always a part of his
life.
Tyrone Tribbett is one of four children born to Niecy Tribbett, former
Philadelphiaradio personalities on WDAS and Tryone Tribbett, Sr. Pastor
in Camden, NJ. As a product of the Tri-State area, Tye’s brand of
music savors that East-coast swing and sensibility commonly associated
with the greats of the area (Hezekiah Walker, James Hall, Natalie Wilson,
Youthful Praise).
