How
did you do last week? Many of you wrote to me sharing
your intentions. I anticipate that those of you who
took the ‘desire nothing challenge’ did
really well. Whether you took the challenge, did really
well, or feel there is room for improvement, this
week you will have another opportunity.
With holidays approaching, many, many people have
all sorts of wants, needs and desires. Some may wish
to have a different career; some may wish to have
a functional family void of tension and pressure,
or just a family to love. Whatever your desires, intend
to make a positive difference in your life and the
life of someone else. You will see the magic unfold
right before your eyes as you begin to activate your
intentions.
I support you all the way. I’ve even made it
easier for you by outlining ways to activate your
intensions below.
I.N.T.E.N.D.
I- Initiate.
Initiate the first step and reach out to a loved one,
a friend, or even someone who has made a positive
impression on you. Give them a call, visit them or
send them an email as a last resort. Let them know
how thankful you are to have them in your life. Now,
I am sure you have heard or read this type of suggestion
before. Make it count, and take it one step further:
do it this time. A small act of kindness can produce
great results all around.
N- Notice.
Notice the privilege you do have and be grateful for
it. We desire more in life: More money, more time,
more access, and more opportunities. Notice all that
you already have within your grasp. Chances are, you
are not taking full advantage of what it is. Believe
it or not, if you are reading this, you, my friend
are privileged!
T- Tell. Tell
someone you can trust. There is no need to wear your
burdens on your shoulders, or attempt to figure EVERYTHING
out on your own. If you do not have someone trustworthy
to speak with, consider seeking professional assistance.
You can use Blacknj.com or VisionManifest.com as a
resource. Remember, you are a part of an online community,
and you are not alone.
E- Examine.
Examine what you have an excess of and give it away
to someone else in need. Yup! I said it, get rid of
your clutter. Make room for new and great things to
show up.
N- News. News,
good or bad, can affect your state of mind. Just for
today, I would like to encourage you not to watch
the evening news. Do something else productive with
your time and notice how you feel. I promise you will
not miss a thing. If it is important, someone will
call you.
D- Decide Decide
that your life is worth you bringing the best of YOU
to it. As Paul Robeson once said, “Nothing can
withstand a focused [made up] mind.”
Okay, now here is the challenge. I encourage you to
not just read these words but also use these ideas
to your advantage. Today, this moment, is the only
one promised. Intend it and act now.

Until next week…. Stay linked to your intentions
and make them work for you.
