HAPPY NEW YEAR… It’s time to thrive in
2005!!!
This year I commit myself to supporting you and your
goals through the sharing and the writing of the BLACKNJ
Monday Motivation articles. My sole purpose is to
‘Motivate you Beyond the Moment’ so you
may thrive in 2005 and beyond.
My intention for these articles is to engage you,
challenge you and inspire you to take action consistently.
Consistent action of any form breaks old habits.
So, as the clock ticked and tocked its way to 2005,
what were your first thoughts in entering this New
Year? What did you tell yourself you were going to
do differently this year, better this year? How are
you going to ensure that by the close of December
2005 you are celebrating the goals you have accomplished
for yourself?
Are you really ready now to decrease your debt, lose
those unwanted pounds, start or expand your new business
idea, find enjoyment in your career, end those relationships
that sabotage your success, or forgive those who have
hurt you? Whatever your intention, it’s time
to come alive in 2005.
Right now, there is a wave of positive energy all
around filled with people just like you who have visions
and goals for this year. I invite you to get on board
and ride the wave to your success. There is no need
to think you have to do it on your own. Put
your pride to the side and ask for help.
The key to this tip is not to talk
to your friends, colleagues or co- workers about it.
Only ask and share with those who have achieved success
in the area you need assistance in. Many people wonder
why one month after the New Year they are back to
repeating old habits from 2004, have lost the motivation,
and doubt themselves.
The answer is simple. Your friends who would love
to be informed of your latest happenings and plans
may not be in position to move your vision forward.
If you want to lose weight, be healthier, earn more
money, get out of debt, manage your time better, or
be in a relationship that you love, simply ask and
learn from those who have done it. My New Year’s
gift to you is to remember that success in any area
of life leaves clues. Find them, follow them and you
will be sure to thrive throughout 2005.
Happy New Year to you... Make this year count!
